OPERATIONAL GUIDE
When picked up, the Circuit Bees will swarm and chase you. You need to sprint to the ship. Dropping the hive causes the bees to guard that spot.
Bees deal rapid damage but have a tether range. They ignore other monsters.
LOGISTICS ANALYSIS
The Bee Hive represents the pinnacle of logistics efficiency. With a weight of 0lb, it offers infinite value density. Crews should prioritize retrieving this item above all else, as it consumes no stamina penalty and occupies a slot without hindering movement speed. It is the perfect filler item for maximizing a haul.
In the context of the standard first quota (130 Credits), a single Bee Hive can contribute approximately 73.1% of the total requirement. While not decisive on its own, it remains a solid component of a diversified scrap haul. For late-game quotas (1000+), it should be viewed as supplementary income.
Standard safety protocols apply to the Bee Hive. SAFETY NOTE: This item is highly conductive. During Stormy conditions, the Bee Hive can attract lightning. Carrying it outdoors may trigger an immediate run-risk event. Standard protocol: drop the item when you hear static discharge, create distance, wait for the strike, then retrieve. Alternatively, use the "drop-walk-drop" method for safer transport. Additionally, because it requires two hands, your interaction speed is reduced: doors, ladders, and quick tool swaps become less reliable while transporting it.
EXPERT TIPS
- ➤ The 'Hive Run': One player distracts the bees, the other grabs the hive and runs. Leave the Hive on the *outside* catwalk of the ship. Do NOT bring it inside until takeoff, or bees will kill everyone in the cabin.
