📦 Phase 1: The Essentials (Start Here)
Burnt Cigarette
📍 Floor 6 (Meat Room)Found in the ashtray. Critical for trading.
Do not attempt to steal the Lighter before you have this item.
Lighter
📍 Elevator (West Wall)Trade the Burnt Cigarette with Bryce to get this.
Used to illuminate Floor 3. Without it, you cannot see the Mouth puzzle.
Sleeping Pills
📍 Floor 4 (Bedroom)Found in drawers or under bed. Used to drug the cake.
Stealth required: Checking more than 3 spots wakes the parents (Instant Death).
The Rat
📍 Floor 7 (Inside Vent)Requires Screwdriver to access. Used to solve the Hole Puzzle.
Must be sacrificed to the Hole on Floor 2 to get the 'RAISE' password.

How to get the Cake (The "Meta" Puzzle)
The Cake does not exist when you start the game. You must "order" it in one loop, die/restart, and collect it in the next loop. This is the main reason players get stuck.
- Go to Floor 6 and open the desk drawers to find the "Job Application".
- Go to Floor 5 (Radiation). Quickly look at the wall sign: C.A.C.E.
- Return to Floor 6. Answer the questionnaire with options 3, 1, 3, 5 (matching C-A-C-E).
- You will receive a crumpled note with the number 921-923.
- Use the phone on Floor 6 to dial this number. You will hear a confirmation message.
- CRITICAL STEP: You must now RESTART the game (or die).
- In the NEW game loop, go back to Floor 6. The application is gone, replaced by the Pink Cake.
How to get Scissors (The "Death" Puzzle)
The Scissors are held by the Doppelgänger on Floor 8. They will kill you the first time you meet. This death is mandatory for progression.
- Visit Floor 8. Interact with the Doppelgänger. You will die.
- Respawn/Restart. Go back to Floor 8.
- Talk to the Doppelgänger again. This time, choose the option "Push them further".
- They will give you the Scissors.
- Usage: Use Scissors to cut the RIGHT meat slab on Floor 6 (to get Screwdriver) and the sewn wall in the elevator.
How to pass the Meat Block (Floor 6)
The sentient meat block on Floor 6 blocks your path to Floor 7. Attempting to pass or feeding it normal food results in the "Butchered" ending.
Open Inventory.
Drag Sleeping Pills onto the Cake.
Receive Drugged Cake. Feed this to the meat.

Screwdriver
📍 Floor 6 (Meat Room)Inside the RIGHT meat slab. Requires Scissors.
Cutting the LEFT slab kills you instantly (Ending 7).
Multimedia CD
📍 Floor 3 (The Mouth)Requires Lighter to see. Feed Drugged Cake to the mouth first.
Attempting to grab the tooth without sedating the mouth = Death.
Escape Key
📍 Floor 9 (Interview)Given by the Boss. Requires all previous items collected.
You must answer 'Yes' to trusting Bryce and be 'Optimistic'.
Wall Computer
📍 Elevator (Hidden)Cut the sewn wall. Insert CD. Type RAISE.
This unlocks Floor 9, the final area.
Troubleshooting & Soft-locks
Why can't I find the Cake?
Did you restart the game? The cake ONLY appears in the loop after you successfully dial 921-923. If you dialed it in the current run, you must die or restart to spawn the cake.
Why did the parents kill me?
Floor 4 is a stealth section. You have a hidden "noise meter". Investigating more than 3 locations wakes them up. Check the drawer, under the bed, and the sheets—grab the pill and leave instantly.
I have the CD, but where does it go?
Look at the elevator wall. Notice the section that looks "sewn up" with thread? Use the Scissors to cut it open. This reveals the fleshy computer port for the CD.
What happens if I miss the Rat?
If you miss the Rat (Floor 7 vent), you cannot solve the Hole Puzzle (Floor 2). Without solving the Hole Puzzle, you never learn the password "RAISE". While you can technically type the password if YOU know it, the game logic often requires the trigger.
